In which there is 80s music.

Spring is finally here after a horribly cold and long winter. Here in central Texas, the roadsides are covered with wildflowers and the redbuds and mountain laurels are in a riot of colour. To celebrate the return of warm weather, The Shotgun Shack will be occasionally switching formats on Fridays - starting tomorrow - to play eighties music (by which I actually mean music from about 1982 to about 1992). The station will switch over roughly around midnight on Thursday, and return to normal programming around 1 a.m. on Saturday morning, depending on what time I get back from Kick Butt Blues on any given Friday.

I won't be posting the setlists for the eighties shows here, as I want to keep the blog focused on blues, soul, and Americana for now at least.
