Reading Jeff Hannusch's excellent I Hear You Knockin': The Sound of New Orleans Rhythm & Blues has inspired me to do another set of New Orleans music, the first one since my Mardi Gras set almost three months ago. I'd hoped to put this off until I could track down a copy of the box set of Instant & Minit releases that Snapper UK put out a couple of years back, but it's gone out of print and may take me a while to locate.
