Throwing wide the doors

Welcome to The Shotgun Shack. Come in, make yourselves at home. There's not much to sit on besides the floor, I'm afraid, but we like to keep as much of the space clear for dancing as possible. There's ice water in the cooler out the back door, and plenty of rum on the counter, over by those mason jars.

I'm your host, the Reverend Shady Glenn. After a little over eight years deejaying in the Austin, Texas, swing and blues dance scene, I decided I wanted another venue to spin my soul, blues, funk, and gospel music, and a platform outside of my regular blog to write about music; so I built this shack. It's not much to look at yet, but I'm hoping that will change over time.
